What Does It Feel Like to Lose Your Home ?

It feels like losing safety, comfort, and dignity all at once. It means spending nights under the open sky, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. No one deserves to live like that.

That’s why Al Manahil Welfare Foundation builds free homes for those who have lost everything—orphans, widows, and families affected by floods and fires.

So far, we have built more than 3,000 houses across Bangladesh. We always try to help the most vulnerable—orphans and widows—because they struggle the most without shelter.

Our team carefully surveys the land, and expert engineers design each home. Every house comes with a bedroom, guest room, kitchen, bathroom, veranda, and proper sunlight access—because a home should be more than just walls.

We have provided safe homes in Sylhet, Sunamganj, Noakhali, Feni, Fatikchhari, and other flood-affected areas. Families who had lost everything can now sleep in peace.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“O son of Adam! Spend (in charity), and I will spend on you.”
(Sahih Bukhari: 5352, Sahih Muslim: 993)
