Project Details
One of the regular initiatives of Al Manahil Welfare Foundation is the distribution of food packs to poor and helpless families in remote areas. Through this initiative, millions of people have benefited. Many underprivileged individuals in our country struggle to afford sufficient food due to financial difficulties, causing immense hardship for their children, parents, and families.
By delivering food to these hungry individuals, Al Manahil Welfare Foundation is fulfilling the divine instructions mentioned in the Quran and Hadith.
Allah says in the Quran:
“And they give food, despite their love for it, to the poor, the orphan, and the captive, saying: ‘We feed you only for the sake of Allah. We seek neither reward nor thanks from you.'”
📖 (Surah Al-Insan: 8-9)
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
It is narrated from Abdullah Ibn Amr (RA) that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW):
“Which act in Islam is the best?”
The Prophet (SAW) replied,
“To feed the hungry and to greet both those you know and those you do not know.”
